Floor Paint Suppliers

As direct floor paint suppliers, we cut out the distributor and sell straight from manufacture. Better consistency, more accurate technical advice and no third-party delays when you need to reorder mid-project.

Floor coatings are one area where getting the specification wrong is an expensive mistake. The wrong product on the wrong substrate can peel, chalk or wear through within months. Our team will ask all the right questions before recommending anything.

What we need to know to match you with the right floor paint:

  • The substrate: concrete, screed, existing paint or bare floor
  • The environment: foot traffic only, forklifts, chemical exposure, wet conditions
  • Any specific requirements: anti-slip, food safe, quick drying, line marking
  • Indoor or outdoor, and whether the floor has previously been sealed

Epoxy and Polyurethane Floor Coatings

Our epoxy and polyurethane floor coatings are the workhorses of the range. Built for environments where a standard floor paint simply wouldn’t last. The two systems perform differently, and knowing which one suits your floor makes a real difference to how long it holds up.

Epoxy is the go-to for chemical resistance and heavy traffic. It bonds tenaciously to concrete, creates a hard, seamless surface and handles oil, fuel and cleaning agents without degrading. Polyurethane is more flexible and UV-stable, making it better suited to floors that experience temperature fluctuation or outdoor light exposure.

Our floor coating systems include:

  • Two-pack epoxy floor paint for heavy-duty industrial and commercial floors
  • Solvent-free epoxy for enclosed environments where fume reduction matters
  • Two-pack epoxy non-slip floor paint for wet or high-risk areas
  • Single-pack floor paint for lighter commercial and domestic applications
  • Floor sealers and primers for surface preparation

    Testimonials

    • Epoxy Floor Paints
    • Non Slip Floor Paints
    • Polyurethane Floor Paint

Epoxy floor paint is a durable and protective coating made from a combination of epoxy resin and a hardener. When mixed, these components create a chemical reaction that forms a tough, adhesive surface that bonds well to concrete and other flooring materials.

Epoxy flooring is commonly used in industrial, commercial, and residential settings due to its high resistance to chemicals, stains, and heavy wear. It provides a smooth, glossy finish that enhances the appearance of floors while also making them easier to clean. Some variations include anti-slip additives for improved safety, and decorative options such as coloured flakes or metallic finishes.

Epoxy floor paint is ideal for garages, warehouses, workshops, and kitchens, offering a long-lasting and hard-wearing solution compared to standard paints.

Non-slip floor paint is a specially formulated coating designed to provide traction and reduce the risk of slipping on various surfaces. It contains anti-slip additives, such as fine aggregates, rubber granules, or grit, which create a textured surface to improve grip, even when the floor is wet or oily.

This type of paint is commonly used in high-traffic or hazardous areas, including warehouses, factories, commercial kitchens, garages, and outdoor walkways. It is available in different finishes, such as epoxy, polyurethane, or acrylic-based coatings, depending on the level of durability and resistance required.

Non-slip floor paint enhances safety by minimising the likelihood of slips and falls, making it ideal for both commercial and residential spaces where secure footing is essential.

Polyurethane floor paint is a hard-wearing coating designed to protect and enhance floors in both commercial and residential settings. Made from polyurethane resins, it provides a tough, flexible, and chemically resistant surface that can withstand heavy foot traffic, impact, and abrasion.

Key Benefits of Polyurethane Floor Paint:

✔ Durability – Highly resistant to wear, scratches, and chemicals, making it ideal for industrial and high-traffic areas.
✔ Flexibility – More flexible than epoxy, allowing it to cope with surface movement without cracking.
✔ Glossy & Smooth Finish – Available in various finishes, including matt, satin, and high-gloss, for a sleek and professional look.

✔ Resistant to Chemicals & UV – Unlike some epoxy coatings, polyurethane does not yellow when exposed to sunlight, making it a great choice for outdoor or well-lit areas.

✔ Quick Drying – Generally dries faster than epoxy, reducing downtime and allowing for quicker application.

    Common Applications:

Industrial & Commercial Spaces – Warehouses, factories, and workshops.

Garages & Car Parks – Resistant to oil, petrol, and tyre marks.

Sports & Leisure Facilities – Gym floors and sports halls due to its flexible and impact-resistant nature.
Domestic Use – Kitchens, patios, and basements where a tough and stylish finish is needed.

Polyurethane floor paint is a long-lasting solution that offers excellent performance, particularly in environments requiring durability, chemical resistance, and aesthetic appeal.

    FAQS

    • Do I need to prime concrete before applying floor paint?

In most cases, yes, bare or porous concrete should be primed or sealed before a topcoat goes down. Skipping this step is one of the most common reasons floor paint fails early. The topcoat lifts because the concrete has absorbed the binder unevenly. Our two-pack epoxy primer and sealer is designed specifically for this first stage.

    • What’s the difference between single-pack and two-pack floor paint?

Single-pack floor paints are ready to use straight from the tin and suit lighter-duty applications like garages or domestic floors. Two-pack systems require mixing a resin with a hardener before application, which creates a much harder, more chemically resistant finish. Essential for industrial or heavily trafficked environments.

    • How long does epoxy floor paint take to dry before you can walk on it?

Most epoxy floor coatings are touch dry within a few hours. Though you do typically need to wait 24 hours before foot traffic and up to 72 hours before returning heavy vehicles or machinery. Temperature plays a big role. Colder conditions extend cure times significantly, which is worth planning for on winter jobs.

    • Can floor paint be applied over an existing painted floor?

Painting over an already painted floor depends on the condition and type of existing coating. If the current paint is sound and well-adhered, a compatible topcoat can often go over the top. If it’s flaking, contaminated or incompatible with the new product, it needs stripping first. We can advise on compatibility if you tell us what’s already down.

    • Is anti-slip floor paint less durable than standard floor paint?

Anti-slip floor paints are barely any less durable than standard floor paint. They contain aggregate additives (fine grit or rubber granules) mixed into the same base formula. This makes the durability of the coating itself comparable. The textured surface can make cleaning slightly more effort, but in environments where slip resistance is a safety requirement, that’s a worthwhile trade-off.
